Welcome to The Seedlings Montessori Preschool in Cypress, conveniently located at the intersection of Fry Road and Cypress North Houston Road. We are a family owned Montessori School and we are committed to providing a dynamic, nurturing preschool giving every child the opportunity to develop into a happy and confident learner who is prepared for success in school and in life. 
We support Maria Montessori’s belief: “Learning for life.” The goal of education at The Seedlings Montessori School is to “Develop and Nurture a lifelong love of learning.” We deeply believe that Children and Seedlings have similar fundamental needs. They both individually require a solid foundation for their roots. While seedlings rely on their roots to guide them to be firmly planted into the soil, children thrive in an environment where they are loved, nurtured and supported as they discover them-selves.
Similarly, At the Seedlings we believe children learn best when every aspect of their development — cognitive, physical, social, and emotional — is nurtured with love. Our Whole Child Education – based on the Montessori Method – focuses on early literacy, logical thinking, problem solving, social understanding, physical coordination, creativity, and positive character traits, such as cooperation and self-control. Whole Child Education allows your child to develop the critical-thinking skills and intellectual curiosity that creates good citizens and fuels success in the classroom and beyond. Our Montessori qualified and experienced teachers create fun learning activities that help children develop at their own pace.
The Montessori approach is unlike any other early years program. Our programs for children 12 months through 6 years of age are customized to each child’s academic need. Children are encouraged to explore and learn through project-based/hands-on activities. Our curriculum is STEAM infused while keeping core Montessori values. We are confident that we will give your child an excellent foundation for an independent, self-directed time of learning.
At The Seedlings Montessori, we are dedicated to actively engaging students in the natural world. We view this engagement as a vital part of physical, psychological and intellectual development. The curriculum and day to day activities are designed in co-ordination with each other so that children get to observe and enjoy the outdoors. An environment designed to inspire children to connect with the wonders of nature on a daily basis; encouraging their interests and allowing them to reach their highest potential. The children will enjoy family style meals and snacks with each other.
