At all times the staff and learners will try to:
· Learn and adhere to our “Pledge to the Earth”
· Create and keep alive an awareness of environmental issues (include these in our calendar and curriculum)
· Ensure that environmental learning is done in a concrete and meaningful way
· Manage our resources wisely:
§ Reduce water / electricity usage
§ Recycle and Reuse as much as possible
§ Reduce wastage of paper and consumables
· Improve our outdoor environment and include:
§ Indigenous plants
§ Vegetable and Herb Garden
§ Peace Garden
· Share environmental tips and ideas with the family and greater community to attempt to make our planet a better place for the future generations
· Have fun learning about our wonderful world
